CATL Unveils New Containerized Energy Storage Solution in Europe, Targeting Large-Scale C&I and Distributed Generation Applications
On September 24,
CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd.) introduced its new product,
CATL TENER Flex, at the Solar & Storage Live exhibition in Birmingham, UK. With a capacity of 376 kW/752 kWh, TENER Flex is designed for large-scale
C&I and
distributed generation, aims to address logistical and geographical challenges in the European energy storage market by offering a more flexible and efficient solution.

The CATL TENER Flex is designed with the following key features:
1. Enhanced transportability: It is compatible with various transport vehicles, allowing efficient navigation through congested streets and complex terrains.
2. Back-to-back skid-mounted design: The optimized structure offers string inverter PCS (Power Conversion System) options, enhancing the AC side performance and minimizing labor and operational costs.
3. Flexible power distribution: Suitable for both industrial and residential applications, the system supports power conversion systems ranging from 600V to 1500V.
4. Wide operating temperature range: With a temperature tolerance from -40°C to 60°C, the system is equipped to handle diverse environments. It has an IP56 humidity protection rating and can operate effectively at altitudes of up to 4,000 meters.
"We aim to make CATL TENER Flex an ideal product solution for a wider range of applications, as it retains the high safety, long lifespan, and exceptional energy density that underpins the TENER brand. It can be adapted to various topographical features and climate conditions, as well as being able to be used in different energy storage scenarios," said Aleksej Krükov, Chief Engineer of CATL Overseas Business, at the New Product Launch Event on September 24th in Birmingham, UK.
