Driven by the "dual carbon" goals and policies, Far East Energy Storage actively responds to national directives, continuously advancing the practical application of user-side energy storage. It empowers leading electronic materials enterprise Dongyangguang Huacheng Foil to construct efficient and intelligent energy storage facilities. Recently, the first phase (25MW/50MWh) of the total 50MW/100MWh planned project commenced construction at the Dongyangguang Industrial Park in Ruyuan County, Shaoguan, Guangdong. Designed for two charging and two discharging cycles, it assists the enterprise in building a green, low-carbon transformation system.

The first phase has a capacity of 25MW/50MWh, composed of four 5MW/10MWh and two 2.5MW/5MWh energy storage units arranged in outdoor containerized solutions. Currently, hoisting of the DC-side energy storage system and AC-side supporting equipment has been successfully completed, laying the groundwork for commissioning and grid connection. Far East Energy Storage's liquid-cooled energy storage container, the PowerSTROM 5000, boasts a standard capacity of 5.016 MWh, featuring high energy density, high efficiency, and strong stability. Its intelligent temperature control system enhances system efficiency by 1% and extends cycle life by 10%, thereby reducing long-term operational costs and boosting economic and environmental benefits.

The project primarily targets peak shaving and valley filling. It stores low-cost valley electricity through peak-valley arbitrage for use during peak hours, reducing electricity bills and transformer capacity costs. Simultaneously, it participates in demand response to generate revenue and provides backup power to ensure production continuity. Upon completion, it will optimize the load structure, enhance energy usage efficiency, and assist Dongyangguang Huacheng Foil in building a modern manufacturing system.
