EcoFlow has officially launched its new Stream series balcony photovoltaic power station product, the Stream Ultra X, providing high-capacity energy storage solutions for the residential market. This all-in-one unit integrates a battery and inverter, with its core upgrade being the inclusion of a 3.84kWh LFP battery, doubling the capacity compared to the previous generation Stream Ultra. The product will be available on August 6th with an early-bird price of €1299 (suggested retail price €1499) and supports plug-and-play mode for compatibility with existing PV systems.

The Stream Ultra X delivers a continuous output power of 2300W, with a PV input capacity of up to 2000W (maximum DC voltage 60V). Its AC charging power has also been increased to 1200W (1050W for the previous generation). Post-expansion, the unit's weight increases to 38.8kg (previous generation 23.1kg), with dimensions of 420mm×294mm×460mm. An IP65 rating ensures safe outdoor use, and it features four sets of Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPT) to enhance power generation efficiency under low-light conditions. The system can be expanded to a total capacity of 23kWh using the EcoFlow Stream AC Pro independent battery.

Equipped with an AI-driven time-of-use optimization function, this product can manage energy based on electricity prices and weather forecasts. The battery boasts a nominal cycle life of 6000 cycles (retaining 70% capacity) and comes with a 10-year warranty. As part of EcoFlow's Home Energy Management System (HEMS), it supports control via a mobile application and is compatible with third-party energy monitoring devices such as Shelly and Tibber.
