Since its establishment, Jintuo Lithium has been awarded several honors, including "Caring Enterprise," "Advanced Enterprise," "Gansu Province Advanced Enterprise Contribution Award," and "Gansu Province Technological Innovation Enterprise." It has been certified as a provincial and national-level green factory and recognized as a key leading enterprise in Gansu's new energy industry, as well as serving as an executive vice president unit of the Guangdong Battery Industry Association.
Seizing the opportunity of the "dual carbon" strategy, Jintuo Lithium has adopted a dual-drive strategy focusing on both power and energy storage sectors. In 2020, the company invested RMB 300 million to establish the province's first high-capacity cylindrical lithium-ion battery production line with a daily capacity of 300,000 cells and an annual output value of RMB 518 million, filling a market gap in Gansu and Jinchang’s new energy battery industry. The company currently operates a fully automated domestic production line, producing a variety of low-rate and high-rate cylindrical lithium batteries known for their low-temperature charging, long cycle life, and high safety. Its products have passed ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 quality management systems as well as UL, ROHS, and CE certifications, with over 20 patents granted. Power products are widely used in digital devices, portable energy storage, light electric vehicles, and power tools. In December 2021, Jintuo Lithium successfully exported its first batch of lithium battery cells worth RMB 40,000 to India and the Philippines, marking the first lithium battery export from Jinchang City. In 2022, the company identified the research, development, and manufacturing of new energy storage batteries as its primary development direction. Leveraging the regional advantages of wind and solar power resources, it invested 1 billion RMB to focus on constructing a 2GWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery project and its supporting facilities. leveraging regional wind and solar power resources. The project has filled a gap in Gansu's wind and solar energy storage battery sector and serves as a milestone in Jintuo Lithium’s high-quality development. The project utilizes advanced stacking processes and industry-leading automation equipment, achieving a 99% automation rate. Cutting-edge technologies such as simulation, multi-layer film laser, visual inspection, sensor, and AI are applied to ensure high safety, high quality, and product consistency.Currently, the 280Ah and 320Ah energy storage battery products lead the industry in safety, energy density, and cycle life. These batteries are primarily applied in residential, industrial, commercial, and renewable energy storage solutions, aiming to cover all energy storage scenarios with customized overall solutions.
To further expand its presence in the new energy storage sector, Jintuo Lithium established Gansu Jinche Energy Storage Battery Technology Co., Ltd., the first wind and solar energy storage battery producer in Gansu Province and the largest in Northwest China. The company is investing in an 18GWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery project, which started construction in August 2022 and is expected to be operational by early 2025. Upon completion, it will generate an annual output value of RMB 18 billion and tax revenue of RMB 710 million, driving a RMB 30 billion industry cluster and creating 2,000 jobs. Cooperation agreements have already been signed with large state-owned enterprises such as Huaneng International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd.
To support research and innovation in new energy products, Jintuo Lithium has independently established the Gansu Yini New Energy Industry Research Center., officially recognized as Gansu Province’s Power Battery Technology Innovation Center. The center is equipped with a comprehensive materials analysis lab, electrochemical performance testing lab, and pilot production lines, focusing on the development of new sodium-ion, semi-solid-state, and solid-state batteries. With nearly 20 senior technical personnel and over 10 PhD- and master-level engineers, The company has a research and development team of nearly 60 people, holding almost 100 high-value patents that are continuously updated, providing technical support for the collaborative development of Gansu Province's new energy industry chain.
On the marketing side, the company has established sales offices in Dongguan (Guangdong Province) and Yongkang (Zhejiang Province) to expand in East and South China markets. It has formed partnerships with renowned enterprises such as Tailg, Yadea, and Phoenix Optics, and its products are exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
Jintuo Lithium will continue to focus on the new energy sector, further expanding and refining the entire industry chain—from raw material procurement and battery cell manufacturing to pack assembly and full-solution energy storage project delivery—striving to enhance its core competitiveness and build a world-class energy storage battery brand. The company is committed to becoming a key player in China’s power and energy storage battery industry while contributing to the development of a RMB 100 billion-level new energy industrial cluster in Jinchang City.
